Singularity claims to be the first large-scale online web conference in the world. Organizer Aral Balkan is planning to coordinate over 100 of the world’s top web visionaries, developers, designers, thought leaders, and celebrities for three days of talks over multiple tracks October 24-26th, 2008.

Some of the themes for the conference are accessibility issues, open data, open source and creative commons, and on giving back. Some 30 speakers have been announced so far.

This is what you get

All sessions will be recorded and made available to attendees for a period of six months. After this, the recordings will be released under a Creative Commons license to form a time capsule or snapshot of Web as seen through the eyes of the speakers.
